- The brother of the bride hired me just one week before the wedding, giving the DVD movie to the couple as a gift from him, and this is what she wrote right after she watched it:
Bruce!
I absolutely love it. I wasn’t even supposed to have a wedding video and now I have this beautifully shot and edited motion picture of my wedding day to have forever.
I’m tearing up right now thinking that one day I will be able to show my children and maybe even my grandchildren a video of my wedding and all its special moments.
You captured everything beautifully! The lighting was spot on — making everyone look their best. You somehow managed to capture moments and edit in highlights of the day that we spoke about after the wedding that there is no way you would have known they were special moments — such as my brother telling me he started the electric slide (he was so proud of himself!), my dancing with my long time friend Kiira (we maybe only danced together for 2 minutes the whole night but you must have sensed it was somehow important), priceless facial expressions and more.
AND — my favorite part: You opened the movie with such a clever opening — the pastor saying “that means it’s supposed to stay on forever.” LOVED THAT!!!!!!
I also loved how you captured the portrait sessions by flashing in and out almost like the camera was taking pictures — FANTASTIC!
Your work is brilliant and I am so grateful.
You were always honest with me and I appreciate that. Should you ever need a recommendation or reference, please don’t hesitate to ask me.

We want to thank you tremendously for an incredible job done on capturing our special day.
You not only captured the tremendous emotions of our wedding day but also captured the essence of what our combined family of seven is like, and each of the kids’ personalities.
We will be having a party for all our family and friends this summer and cannot wait to play it for them.

Forgive our delayed response… we had a crazy week last week, but we watched it over and over again… and each time enjoyed it just a bit more than the time before! We love how you captured our ceremony and picked up just the right moments at our “reception”! And we loved the walk through town… we loved the music you put it to.

- Written in an email to the brother of the August 2008 bride,
after he asked me for a reference:
Bruce did an amazing job and everyone who has seen the video has been floored by how well it captured the fun of the event. Most people (including my wife and I) came away with the same thought, which is that they’ve never seen anything like it.
We were hesitant to spend that much on video coverage (after blowing well past any notion of a budget on everything else) but in hindsight… it was some of the best money we spent on the wedding.
As far as the actual shooting of the footage goes, Bruce and his second camera person/lighting assistant blended into the crowd (although everyone was intrigued by the Steadicam rig, and I did see a few people taking pictures of him). He managed to see and film far more than my wife and I were able to see over the course of the night.
The clarity of the HD Steadicam is unbelievable and probably just as important, if not more, the editing of the final product was exceptional! Bruce is an absolute artist (which we did not fully appreciate until we saw the movie). The other great part is that Bruce picked up on the fact that we are not particularly serious or sappy people, so his editing really caught the funny moments that could have otherwise been lost.
Bottom line… he hit the ball out of the park and I strongly recommend Bruce.
